Kia Carens Clavis: Kia recently launched Carens Clavis on 8th May, 2025 in india. It comes as a more premium version MPV(Multi Purpose Vehicle) of the already sold Kia Carens in India, featuring an all new impressive exteriors, more advanced multimedia infotainment system and a much smart car equipped with Level – 2 ADAS features.
Kia aims to sell both the Carens and Carens Clavis alongside each other although the latter is going to be placed slightly premium to the earlier Kia Carens. Though Kia India has not revealed the pricing of the car so far, the official word is that the official pricing would be revealed on 23rd May, 2025, but we expect the starting price could be somewhat around ₹11 lakhs(ex- showroom).

Kia Motors India has positioned this car as more upmarket version of the already on sale Kia Carens in India. Though the use of more premium materials, premium features, more advanced tech than the carens, Kia is trying to justify this heavily refreshed/ face lifted carens under a brand new name of “Kia Carens Clavis” with higher price tag.
Is it going to appeal to the masses of indian consumer, only time will tell. Though the initial reviews tell us that it is going to be a promising proposition for Kia motors but we would advise to wait and watch.
