Tata Motors Revealed the Harrier Ev 2025? Drops a Big Hint With its Teaser!

Harrier EV 2025: Tata Motors dropped a huge hint in form of a new teaser of the upcoming car on 30th May, 2025 that is going to be revealed by at 2PM in India on 3rd June, 2025. From the glimpse we could only make out that a new SUV in black color is going to be launched. A big Tata logo at the center of the wide grille at the center could be seen in the teaser image, with DRLs, headlights and fog lamps are situated below the DRLs.

The teaser also shows some crease lines that makes it look muscular, bold stance and a black beauty with which Tata Motors aims to scale new heights with this car and we suspect that it is the new harrier as the teaser was being released by the Tata Motors EV division on X(formerly Twitter).

Also the tag line reads –

“Get ready to do what was impossible for every other car in India! ​ Coming soon.”

With the scale of mountains that high, so daunting that even for a simple man to climb that mountain and mind it with just one wrong step you would crawl back to the starting position as revealed in the video, this all shows that the new harrier ev 2025 is going to be the most powerful EV car by Tata Motors.

  • Launch & Positioning: The Harrier EV will launch on June 3rd. It’s designed to be Tata’s most powerful electric SUV with an all-wheel-drive option.
  • Platform: Built on Tata’s XT EV J2 platform, a modified version of the Harrier’s Omega architecture developed with Jaguar Land Rover. It’s important to note this is not a born-electric platform.
  • Variants: It will be available in both all-wheel drive and two-wheel drive versions.
  • Range: Expect a real-world range of 500 km for the top variant.
  • Torque: The all-wheel-drive variant will deliver an impressive 500 Nm of torque.
  • Features: It will include Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) functionality and Vehicle-to-Vehicle (V2V) charging.

The Harrier EV maintains a visual similarity to its diesel counterpart.

  • Aerodynamic turbine blade alloy wheels (17-19 inch options).

Performance & Battery:

  • Torque Comparison: While the diesel Harrier produces 350 Nm of torque, the EV’s all-wheel-drive version will significantly boost this to 500 Nm. The two-wheel-drive base variant is expected to offer around 400 Nm of torque.
  • Battery Options: Two battery packs are anticipated:
    • A 60 kWh pack for the base variant
    • A 75 kWh pack for the all-wheel-drive version.
  • Range Breakdown: The 60 kWh variant is estimated to provide a real-world range of approximately 400 km, while the 75 kWh all-wheel-drive variant is confirmed for a 500 km real-world range.

Charging & Pricing:

  • Fast Charging: The Harrier EV is expected to support fast charging at 150-200 kW, allowing for a 10-80% charge in roughly 30-35 minutes.
  • Price: The anticipated price range is expected to be priced around ₹25-30 lakh.
  • The base model with two-wheel-drive model will have the 60 kWh battery and is estimated to start around ₹25 lakh, with the all-wheel-drive 75 kWh model around ₹30 lakh.
